Iran’s sanctions

let’s talk about Obama's policy toward Iran and Iran's leaders response.

first of all i must say that i am not in favor of Iran's leaders in resisting to start dialouge with united state and i have no doubt that their resisting because they will see their legitimacy in danger if relation between 2 country become common like other countries so they give many points and priorities to other world powers such as china and Russia to support them in cold war between them and US.

but also let me say that i see Obama's policy toward Iran paradoxical from beginning .Obama says "we will extend a hand if you are willing to un-clench your fist"

Obama every new Persian year send message to Iranians and Iran's leaders and ask lets forgot all bitter events in the last 30 years and start a new age for tow nation and 2 countries .but as an Iranian who live inside Iran frankly i must say Obama policy is only a blah blah ! policy and in 1.5 year we all see no practical act as sign for a change .for example US.S could allow Iran to buy new civil planes to reduce air crash in Iran or let peaceful technology such as new generation mobile network or new IT devices such as smart phones ,laptop easily without any sanction use by Iranians or even other technologies such as new cars or medical devices and….

let’s be honest Iran has a big population of young people which they are seeking new opportunities and new thoughts so more hard sanction only could help young generation will absorb by fundamental thoughts but if they put in a free society and environment with modern and useful devices and technology such as broadband internet they will not believe all of the words by Iran's leaders .in other hand more sanction caused more terrible economic crisis in middle class families in Iran that goes society to hibernate situation that the only thing which is important for families is their basic needs so there is no time to think to other needs such as freedom or education or what reason caused this situations for their poverty.

Stop all kind of sanction against Iran for democracy

after month of suspension ,the negotiation between Iran and 5+1 countries will begins in Geneva. Iran says we are not negotiated any more about our nuclear activity and in other side of  table 5+1 speak about more sanction and even a military attack if Iran didn't suspend its uranium enrichment . especially  US and EU threat Iran with tougher sanctions such as some limitations in importing gas and other oil product!!!  to Iran.

as an Iranian i  think there is no benefit in tougher sanction for both side , sanction has no power  to force Iran to suspend its nuclear activity and other demands of west from Iran for example about Iran position in middle east crisis and in other hand more sanction only affects in Iranian people life for example an expense  in their life and spread hate in Iranian society from west when people see sanction cause more plane crash and death of their friends or even when many youth see they cannot use and download many simple software because they see an error like “sorry you are from a forbidden country “.

so i  recommend west stop  all of kind of sanction against Iran  and give more initiative recommendations to Iranian  cause i believe an open relation with modern world cause an open society for Iranians  and then democracy for Iran and empower more  middle class people in Iranian society  people day by day. people  who  know aspects of modern life and know how to use technology  in a long term.

Green miracle is alive

After about 3 month in tension we are spend calm days  in Iran or it is better i say situation in Iran is more like  a big fire underneath of ashes . many  people are in prison including  ordinary people and leaders of oppositions and many journalists.

oppositions newspaper are shut down and some few that are still published are under heavy pressure and their content must approved by authorities before they could send their newspaper to print house for publishing.

government TV and radio which are the only legal TV and radio station in Iran are broadcast  protesters and oppositions  courts widely and show to the people these decent men and women in pajamas who are confess against themselves and their beliefs exactly after tow month that they were held  in sole cell in prison . every night they shows special reports that try to convince people that there were not any fraud in election ,there were not any systematic torture or rape!!!! in prison ,they were not shooting to people in demonstrations !!!!

maybe you cannot see more protest in street but you can reads slogans in green on the walls of streets  or on phone booth or you could see green bands which are  hang from green trees in parks or every day you could listened to more songs and read  more poems or watch more green movement  clips!! on YouTube  or other sites on internet in support of green movement in Iran and even   you could see people are speak  about  a mass protest in an annual  governmental demonstration in favor of Palestinian people but they want wear green show “V”  with their hands.

as i said the situation are like a fire beneath of ashes like what the world saw as how  millions of people held  biggest demonstration in Iran  exactly one day after election without any media and organize it only on internet with their Twitter and Facebook accounts in protest of fraud in election and what they experienced in past by Iran's leaders.

Where is My vote?

people ask me why i don't write here more especially when Iran is in all of headlines in the world .first of all my weblog is filtered in Iran and then i must confess i wrote a long post in favor of Mousavi before election but good or bad that post accidentally deleted and my silence on my weblog continue .

i voted to Mousavi and to camping for him and tried convince more people to vote for him but it was really hard especially in the district that i live in Tehran, our district is downtown and here many people supported for Ahmadinnejad , here and in villages and small towns ahmadinejad are so popular among people because his campaign speak about corruption!!!in last 30 years so people who suffer from poverty and injustice in their social life see him as a hero .

so victory of ahmadinejad was predictable but what is so mysterious is the number of votes that every candidates could get for example no one could predict Ahamadinejad win election with 24 million vote and Karoubi only get 300,000,000 votes.

anyway results was very mysterious and at least 30% of voters to mousavi came to streets, people who most of them are educated and and want a modern life .they protest with silent rallies for their votes but Government could not tolerant for more than 4 days and on 5th day they repress people violently .they use basij militia to restrain protesters .basij is a people organized militia in Iran and many people who are loyal to revolution are registered in this militia ,so as you see government repress a segment(at least 30%) of own people with another part of people in Iran society and this is what i am scared from it . they are trying spread hate among people in Iran .they try to say protester are belong to up level people from uptowns and others who votes to Ahmadinejad are middleclass people and “It is a confrontation and war between poverty and wealth” and this is very dangerous for future of our society.

Big lost

100,000 people gathered in Azadi stadium for  watching a football match between Iran and Saudi Arabia .Mr.president and his friends are there too. Iran coach is Ail Daei a famous football player in the past but an unpopular celebrity because his arrogant personality  among people.the match end and Iranians experienced one of most angry nights in the history because of a big lost.

Iran lost the match for the first time  versus an Asian  team in Tehran (especially an Arab team)  and lost most of the chance for FIFA word cup in 2010 .

I wrote before that the situation of Iran is no more interesting for me and i give up for everything and let MR president and others to do whatever they want to ruin everything in Iran .and the match was a symbol  of what they did in past 4 years in Iran for many people in Iran.

Obama as President

About 3 years ago I wrote a post and complain why American people vote to bush for second time .
now after 3 years and half I am writing another post about another united state election for presidency.first of all it is better I declare my position about candidates .for sure I am not a fan of John McCain because he wants bomb,bomb, bomb my country.
and between senator Obama and Hillary Clinton I choose Obama because I think his views are more sufficient for world as president of one of the  most important countries and especially for my country ,Iran.
I really wish a moderate president as leader of unite state, a leader who believe in dialogue more than any violate action .unfortunately in my country conservative are in power, and it means never two side that both of them are bully cannot agree on a win win position.both side wants see lose of opposite side.

so I believe that Obama it is a good choice for iranian people  ,because he believe on negotiation with Iran without any precondition,and if you were a moderate person, in negotiation even with a hard line side you could manipulate crisis with your logic and let opposite side thought you are a loser* .

I wanna be apathetic but…

My weblog is restricted by my isp (wrongly or by purpose !)and it is so hard FOR ME to write in a weblog that cannot access to it .

these days media(weblogs , newspapers and even governmental radio and tv) are really under pressure by government of Mr. Ahmadinejad .the govement is trying very hard to controlled circle of press in society, for example they arrested a blogger who write for the first time about dogs of security team of Mr. president in his blog.

sometimes I told to myself "don’t think to these bullshit anymore ,leave Mr. president to himself, let him and his men to do everything the wish, leave your country to him and let yourself enjoy many things which are waiting for you!!!”

Competition to watch more!

when you are alone in a big house naturally you have more time to watch movie and read the books which you haven't enough time to read and watching them before.

I also started to watch some American series .first season of ugly betty full seasons of sex and city and also 2 seasons of desperate housewives.

last night I watch a weird movie ."Life of others" a film about eastern Germany and secret agents of national security of DDR .the film won Oscar of foreign movie this year.

I have the same feelings that I had after reading 1984.

I really confused and bewildered after seeing similarity of this movie with where I am living .

in film you hear exactly same quotes about country and society and serving to your country with helping to government ,also same agents who have a top access to every angle of life of other people to protect "the country" or similarity of being few model of cars in streets in both countries.

and ...

Bad Terrorist, Good Terrorist

1-He and his group with honor beheaded people and recorded it while his followers read Quran in the scene (May you could find the movie on YouTube)

2-He and his group blow up the bus of employee when they are going to work (he was said the employee worked for revolutionary guard!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

3-He and his group banned the road and arrest people and shooting and killed them on hole they dig beside the road.

This person is Abdolmalek Rigi the first terrorist in Iran .he accept the responsibilities of all these actions that I wrote here.

I am sure all of you accept that such actions only is terrorism.

But last night the television which reflect U.S policy (VOA Persian service) interviewed with such sinister person as "Leader of resistant movement of people of Iran". The host called his "Mr.Rigi". And Mr.Rigi explained how he and his group resisted against Iran government with killing people ! He even told that we haven’t enough money so please give us more money to do more Operation! In Iran we could do even more than 3 Operation in Iran every month!!!!

Stupidly and Childish

1. In Iran it is a tradition political prisoners confess in front of camera and broadcast the confession on TV .also Iranian people remember many apology letters from prisoners who were regreted.

Most of these persons when get out from Iran told that they forced to the confession and writing apology letters

It is an old trick that nomore anybody in Iran fooled by it.

2. With all of these facts I really don’t know how I could analyses confession of U.K sailors on TV. I really cannot figure out who ordered to do this stupid response by Iran against pressure of west.

They show UK sailors confession .the captive says words which are like translation of Iranian officials .woman captive everyday wrote a letter which are more similar to letters of Mr. President to Mr. Bush or the letter who he wrote to people of America!

Sincerely I never imagine that Iran acts such stupidly and childish. Iranian persons who run and moderate this crisis are really similar to attitude of followers of Mr.ahmadinejad and his theories.

I have to ...

 1-saddam was executed .Arabs and Sunnis says  saddam was killed by shias(Iran) and U.S.

2-everybody speaks about  probability a new war between Iran and U.S.A.   president bush decided to send more american soldiers   and setup patriot missiles in Iraq as a new strategy !!!!

3-officials of Iran and U.S speak about each others  more hostilely than before .

4-every man in Iran has to serve for his country for  about 2 years,  today I registered myself for military service.

A honorable man!

Mr president went to Amir Kabir university 4 days after the day named "student day " in Iran .he went to Amir Kabir university ,the university that more opposition student study there ,he went to the university only 5 days remain to election ,he allowed student swear to him and ignite his picture in front of himself ,he allowed also TV showed the secnces.
Why? does Ahmadinejad changed ?does he wants hear the voice of his opposition and regime opposition?dose he had dream last night about how nice is a democracy and about benefits of freedom expression ?
In the last presidential election Mr president on TV begin to tell "how his opponents are bad!! they made for him jokes about he never wash himself and how ditrty he is" he told people how much he is a nice guy and he will forgive all the people who Libeled him in election.
yesterday Mr president also said at the end of his speech ! in univercity that he will forgive all the student who swore him and ignited his pictures!!! what nice president?
we are living in a democratic society and only 2 days remain to election!!

Viva minimum reform

Again another election in Iran .

in assembly of experts election I could say that there is not no competing between candidates .they choose 145 clerics candidates for us and Iranian must elected about 86 of them as their representatives in assembly of experts(1.6 candidate for every seat!!!!!!!!) .I prefer ignore this as election and democracy but we are anticipating another election
we will vote in city and village council election this Friday. there is about 500,000candidates in all of the country and I think this election is more competitive .

for example in Tehran there is 3 major list of candidates introduced by political factions :

1- supporters of Mr Ahmadinejad (fundamentalists)

2-supporters of mayor of Tehran Ghalibaf ( technocrats conservative )

3-supporters of Mr khatami former reformist president (reformist)

the first list is a little scary the list consist by names of sister and Godchild! of Mr president. so I must ignore this list and I hope other people do the same because we will not to see worse than condition that we experienced today.

but I have more doubt about the 2 next list , naturally I must support list of reformists but I doubt about it because recently I concluded that a conservative but practical team which believes in development could get more result in Iran because the THE POWER in Iran sees them as friend but think about reformists as insiders and spies of foreign governments!

so I think I will vote to a mixture !!! reformists and technocrats conservative

maybe some ask why I wanna vote? especially when more ! newspapers shout down ,more! sites blocks , more books banned to publish and etc.

I thought about it so much and I saw no more choice for myself ,I must vote and encourage others to vote for changing ,because if for another time supporters and ideology of Ahmadinejad could win another election the condition get worse than today .

so we must use our possibility for even a minimum reform in Iran .

Internet story (iranian version)

Today I want told you a story about iranian Internet .
In the first years we had a good chance that Internet publicize in years of presidency of a reformist president ,so I think at least there was thoughts and visions about benefits of this 21st century Phenomenon . so they are trying to developed it ,in the first years there were filtered only erotic and may some radical political sites.but when Internet Generalized more among people,some narrow minded persons in some part of regime in Iran ask they children to what is "this Internet"?! their children show them yahoo.com and they saw a woman without a a scarf!!!!!!! in an advertisement .
so because they have more power than government they force them to filter more sites.
four years passed and Mr Ahmadinejad elected as president .I remembered when asked him "there is a rumor that you will ban Internet when you elected" .he sneer and told "these are only lies of my enemy .my children and my wife use Internet as source for their scientific research!" Did he lie?
5 month later there was more strict filter (American filter ) ,they even filtered sites like BBC .they also presented a new plan for national Internet ,and that time we found a bad smell , smell of lies and Liquidation of Internet and we found they are against any sharing .they only wanna a sound in society .
and today after 15 month after election their is a confidential letter to all companies which provide ADSL line to iranian .the letter told them they have not no any right to give more than 128 k ADSL line to their costumers .
when we asked them why a restriction of speed ? they told people didn't need more speed ,we thought this limit of speed is enough for you . and when asked them what about e-learning or -banking and etc.
they answered :no problem we provide such service by our national network.

At last a quote from Ministry of communication(link is Persian): in the west they have a reverse manner in filtering in compression with us; they filtered ideological contents epically context who belong to Moslems and Islam but in Iran we only !!!!!! filtered erotic and violence contents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am really frightend aboutmy iran's feuture.

Dangerous iranians!

Maybe it was interesting for you to know that people who live in Iran couldn't download any Google softwares such picasa,Google earth ,Google SketchUp ,... or even Google toolbar for firefox!

Maybe you asked why?

U.S sanction Iran for 27 years ( I am 23years old) and because Google is an American company it shouldn't allow to dangerous Iranians to use its software because...

• maybe we use picasa to mange pictures of our nuclear bombs .


• we couldn't use Google toolbar because we may search on Internet "how I could made a bomb?"


• or maybe we use Google SketchUp to simulate our dangerous nuclear sites in Natanz in 3D.


• or using Google earth as a tool to see how we could nuke Israel? (we are trying achieve nuclear bombs because we are Iranians and our president is Ahmadinejad!)

what do they think about Iranians that they didn't allow us to use some free software that could be help people to educate their knowledge and thoughts .

P.S:iranian people are suspicious by both sides .government suspect us as a spy or comrade of west and we are suspected by people of outer world!! as an dangerous iranian.

Our right to know restrict, day by day

I really don't know how many times I wrote a post about censorship and restriction of freedom of expression in Iran what that really I suffer about it and upset me more than everything in Iran.

Their attitude is really strange usually for a period of time the leave everything by its own and these days their attack is begin again.

1-they come to our house and ask us to give them our satellites and if we refuse their request, hard punishment is waiting for us.

2-they crack down another newspaper. Shargh most prominent reformist newspaper was crack down yesterday .they close our newspaper which we used to read it every day but today my only choices in news station were governmental newspapers.

3-tonight a subtitle rolls on bottom of our TVs. it was a government statement about Iranian cinema, exactly the day after cinema national day in Iran. The statement says from today movie producers shouldn't advertise their movies on satellite channels Otherwise they banned the movies!

4-Iran have maximum 15% Internet users but limitation of Internet is very strict .they scanned and filtered our requests on Internet. They restricted us in many ways for example:

1. They filtered hundreds of sites only if views have little different with official views.
   
2. They are restricted us on Internet with slow dial ups lines. It is a secret policy in Iran.”High speed lines are only sufficient for government offices or big company. We must restricted people as more as we could so we try the keep expensive charge of using Internet.
   
3. some prominent sites which are filterd in iran : flickr,technorati,orkut,youtube,blogrolling and...

let's know more about a complicated country

Iran former president Mohammad Khatami allowed to enter united state without any insulting acts (like fingerprinting) that U.S behave with citizens of unfriendly countries .

In Iran hardliners called him traitor becouse of his trip , and in the united state many official like governor and senators called him as former leader of a terrorist county .

maybe it was good if I mentioned that Mr khatami have most votes of iranian people as a president ,23 milion vote in first round in front of 9 milion votes of president ahmadinejad in first round(and 17 milion in second round) .Mr khatami also known as an religious intellectual in the many countries.

With all of these facts , what do you think about objections in Iran and U.S to him about his trip? why hardliners in Iran (supporters of Mr ahmadinejad) called a traitor or what kind of persons in U.S could write article like this?

IRAN is the same PERISA

I assume that situation in Iran constantly leave for a long time like today (Iran nuclear program was in UNSC and a war potentially being a big menace for Iran , also a hard liner government be in power, and like 20 years ago Iran have tension with world but everything is still calm ) .with this situation what must be interesting for a foreigner to visit Iran as a tourist.

please remember I assume that everything is calm and there is no war and chaos like Iraq ;)

Iran is among top ten ! countries which have potentially more interesting points in tourism industry,but with all of this Iran has only 0.3% of all money in tourism industry.

And my question :

Q: what must be interesting for a tourist for visiting Iran?

please answer these question and write any obstacle you think is in Iran for foreigner tourist?

I think I could guess some obstacles for foreigner tourist in Iran, for example :

1. Iran government is very strict in issuing visa for many citizen of "not friendly countries" .
   
2. many limitation in Iran (law or culture of Iranians!?) restrict tourist e.g alcoholic drinks are banned in Iran...
   
3. many of people especially in western countries only have an illusion vision about Iran
   
4. and ...
   

maybe it was not a relevant post to what happen these days in the world.but I really ask you answer the question and help me complete these list because it is really important for me and especially one of my friends.

After 100 years…

Today was 100 anniversary of parliament in Iran .100 years ago after lots of demonstrations and objections by Iranian people . finally the king Mozzafar-e-din Shah convinces to sign order of first parliament in Iran (and Asia).
In Iran this movement called as Revolution.
But after about 100 years this question frequently asked in Iran society and among intellectuals: what happen in these 100 years that Iran couldn’t achieve to a complete democracy and free society?
Iranian experienced at least 3 revolutions in these years every time to starting a new course but after a period of time they see there is not all of they wants form their movement which they tried for it.
Maybe revolt is not a good case for achieving what our society expect (what do you think about reform?). Or maybe Iranians only anticipate a paradise just after every movement so they didn’t t support (or supervise) the leaders of movements for a long time so very soon they disappointed and wants to comeback to past (president Ahmadi nejead is Succeeded of reformist president Khatami)
Or maybe leaders betrayed to hopes of Iranians with fighting with each other for more power
And finally maybe Iranian people are not ready yet for a real democracy.

I really didn’t want to close my eyes to all of signs that Iranians obtain in these 100 years in freedom and democracy , frankly I am really glad that I was born in Iran instead of Iraq ,Qatar ,Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan. Azerbaijan, Jordan Oman, Cuba, Syria or many others of U.S allies in the world
But I am upset why I couldn’t experience all of democracy !

I was thinkig that they are different with their Iranian allies

After 2000 I saw Hezbollah as a political party with smart leaders, so I've thought politic and policy is more important for them instead of military action but I really shocked when Hezbollah seize Israeli soldiers
Do they did the operation to supporting Palestine people? But it is obvious that they are responsible in front of Lebanon people more than Palestine and Hamas ? I don't think that they've been so stupid that cannot predict reaction of Israel for such actions. they sacrificed Lebanon peace and calm for what reason? I eagerly anticipte to hear what is answer of Hezbollah to Lebanese .why they provoked Israel monster . Israel bombarded many parts of Lebanon which reconstructed after war by unity of Lebanese so why they must do an operation when every one know about its consequences?
why?
