Marche sur mes yeux

After about 2 or 3 years that i did not read any book ,last night i see a book which was a free Persian version of a book named "walk on my eyes",the book was originally publish in French in the publisher and writers publish the Persian version of it  freely on the internet.
Writers are tow western journalist who worked in Iran for years . They started a project about happy Iranians that they face  during the years that they worked in Iran  but their  project have a coincidence with what happened in Iran after last damn presidential election,the  book briefly introduce Iran society  ,it  covers most aspect of Iran from  leaders and politic to Iran's youth fever for a nose job or even how a Basiji thinks when he beats people on streets . the book  is so interesting and easy  for read, the reader really enjoy it , i really enjoy the sense of humor of writers about how they see Iranians and and their behavior . As i wrote the book was my first book that  i read after a long time and also i must added that i read the whole 444 pages from midnight to 5 a.m of morning,so weird,huh ? my first book and my first post on my blog after a long time!

Iran’s sanctions

let’s talk about Obama's policy toward Iran and Iran's leaders response.

first of all i must say that i am not in favor of Iran's leaders in resisting to start dialouge with united state and i have no doubt that their resisting because they will see their legitimacy in danger if relation between 2 country become common like other countries so they give many points and priorities to other world powers such as china and Russia to support them in cold war between them and US.

but also let me say that i see Obama's policy toward Iran paradoxical from beginning .Obama says "we will extend a hand if you are willing to un-clench your fist"

Obama every new Persian year send message to Iranians and Iran's leaders and ask lets forgot all bitter events in the last 30 years and start a new age for tow nation and 2 countries .but as an Iranian who live inside Iran frankly i must say Obama policy is only a blah blah ! policy and in 1.5 year we all see no practical act as sign for a change .for example US.S could allow Iran to buy new civil planes to reduce air crash in Iran or let peaceful technology such as new generation mobile network or new IT devices such as smart phones ,laptop easily without any sanction use by Iranians or even other technologies such as new cars or medical devices and….

let’s be honest Iran has a big population of young people which they are seeking new opportunities and new thoughts so more hard sanction only could help young generation will absorb by fundamental thoughts but if they put in a free society and environment with modern and useful devices and technology such as broadband internet they will not believe all of the words by Iran's leaders .in other hand more sanction caused more terrible economic crisis in middle class families in Iran that goes society to hibernate situation that the only thing which is important for families is their basic needs so there is no time to think to other needs such as freedom or education or what reason caused this situations for their poverty.

Stop all kind of sanction against Iran for democracy

after month of suspension ,the negotiation between Iran and 5+1 countries will begins in Geneva. Iran says we are not negotiated any more about our nuclear activity and in other side of  table 5+1 speak about more sanction and even a military attack if Iran didn't suspend its uranium enrichment . especially  US and EU threat Iran with tougher sanctions such as some limitations in importing gas and other oil product!!!  to Iran.

as an Iranian i  think there is no benefit in tougher sanction for both side , sanction has no power  to force Iran to suspend its nuclear activity and other demands of west from Iran for example about Iran position in middle east crisis and in other hand more sanction only affects in Iranian people life for example an expense  in their life and spread hate in Iranian society from west when people see sanction cause more plane crash and death of their friends or even when many youth see they cannot use and download many simple software because they see an error like “sorry you are from a forbidden country “.

so i  recommend west stop  all of kind of sanction against Iran  and give more initiative recommendations to Iranian  cause i believe an open relation with modern world cause an open society for Iranians  and then democracy for Iran and empower more  middle class people in Iranian society  people day by day. people  who  know aspects of modern life and know how to use technology  in a long term.

Green miracle is alive

After about 3 month in tension we are spend calm days  in Iran or it is better i say situation in Iran is more like  a big fire underneath of ashes . many  people are in prison including  ordinary people and leaders of oppositions and many journalists.

oppositions newspaper are shut down and some few that are still published are under heavy pressure and their content must approved by authorities before they could send their newspaper to print house for publishing.

government TV and radio which are the only legal TV and radio station in Iran are broadcast  protesters and oppositions  courts widely and show to the people these decent men and women in pajamas who are confess against themselves and their beliefs exactly after tow month that they were held  in sole cell in prison . every night they shows special reports that try to convince people that there were not any fraud in election ,there were not any systematic torture or rape!!!! in prison ,they were not shooting to people in demonstrations !!!!

maybe you cannot see more protest in street but you can reads slogans in green on the walls of streets  or on phone booth or you could see green bands which are  hang from green trees in parks or every day you could listened to more songs and read  more poems or watch more green movement  clips!! on YouTube  or other sites on internet in support of green movement in Iran and even   you could see people are speak  about  a mass protest in an annual  governmental demonstration in favor of Palestinian people but they want wear green show “V”  with their hands.

as i said the situation are like a fire beneath of ashes like what the world saw as how  millions of people held  biggest demonstration in Iran  exactly one day after election without any media and organize it only on internet with their Twitter and Facebook accounts in protest of fraud in election and what they experienced in past by Iran's leaders.

Persepolis

maybe you heard or even see persepolis a autobiography film by marjan satrapi.the film describe Iran between 70 to mid 90s. .

the film had many reactions in west it is even nominate for best animation in Oscar,and also won the jury prize in canne.

when I watch the movie it was a little weird and strange for me for example I am not agree with her views about Iran Iraq war  ,maybe because I am not in the same class that the director belong to that in Iran society or maybe because I am not old enough to remember things that other experienced in 80s.

but in other hand I really could feel that satrapi didn't lie in her comics and film.maybe there was not all truth in the film but  she describe her views honestly.

Competition to watch more!

when you are alone in a big house naturally you have more time to watch movie and read the books which you haven't enough time to read and watching them before.

I also started to watch some American series .first season of ugly betty full seasons of sex and city and also 2 seasons of desperate housewives.

last night I watch a weird movie ."Life of others" a film about eastern Germany and secret agents of national security of DDR .the film won Oscar of foreign movie this year.

I have the same feelings that I had after reading 1984.

I really confused and bewildered after seeing similarity of this movie with where I am living .

in film you hear exactly same quotes about country and society and serving to your country with helping to government ,also same agents who have a top access to every angle of life of other people to protect "the country" or similarity of being few model of cars in streets in both countries.

and ...

After 100 years…

Today was 100 anniversary of parliament in Iran .100 years ago after lots of demonstrations and objections by Iranian people . finally the king Mozzafar-e-din Shah convinces to sign order of first parliament in Iran (and Asia).
In Iran this movement called as Revolution.
But after about 100 years this question frequently asked in Iran society and among intellectuals: what happen in these 100 years that Iran couldn’t achieve to a complete democracy and free society?
Iranian experienced at least 3 revolutions in these years every time to starting a new course but after a period of time they see there is not all of they wants form their movement which they tried for it.
Maybe revolt is not a good case for achieving what our society expect (what do you think about reform?). Or maybe Iranians only anticipate a paradise just after every movement so they didn’t t support (or supervise) the leaders of movements for a long time so very soon they disappointed and wants to comeback to past (president Ahmadi nejead is Succeeded of reformist president Khatami)
Or maybe leaders betrayed to hopes of Iranians with fighting with each other for more power
And finally maybe Iranian people are not ready yet for a real democracy.

I really didn’t want to close my eyes to all of signs that Iranians obtain in these 100 years in freedom and democracy , frankly I am really glad that I was born in Iran instead of Iraq ,Qatar ,Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan. Azerbaijan, Jordan Oman, Cuba, Syria or many others of U.S allies in the world
But I am upset why I couldn’t experience all of democracy !

”Funny in Farsi” involve 20 humorous short stories written by an Iranian woman who immigrated to united state with her family when she was 7.
The writer more focus on Iranian immigrant society in united state and problems of adaption from both side (Iranian and American problems to accept each other)
The book also depicted Iranian manner with an excellent satire, for example when I read funny exaggerations of writer about his family and compare them with my life and my relatives my laughter was really out of control.
So I recommended you if you still didn’t read this book, don’t miss it because I am sure you will enjoy from houmor of the book

Conspiracy Theory

1-Iranian Azeris complain to a cartoon which published for children in a newspaper. They claim the cartoon insulting Turks and Azeris people .so for days cities of Azerbaijan province were in chaos.
So another newspaper crack down and cartoonist and editor pf newspaper arrested! More…
2- There were such revolts (ethnic) a few months ago in Arabs and Kurds cities also.
3- A group that claims! Fight for Baloch people rights capture innocent people in far away roads and killed them.

All I see from these tensions more than everything is a conspiracy of foreign intelligence services , they are try to arouse ethnic groups in Iran , a dirty decision for dividing Iran and all because Iran wants being maverick in the world, a silly attitude in modern world .

Awareness

I asked my friends: "Are you agree with the the council which choose supreme leader of Iran?" I added that ”the council which consists from 6 clerics? "
I confidently could say that more than of tow third of them didn’t object to my question that “your question is wrong supreme leader elected by Assembly of Experts?”

These days my mind preoccupied by this question? How much people must be aware about their government and who they elected as their leaders?
I believe people more than everything like have an easy and comfortable life in a secure society without any interruption with political tensions?
But how they must observe and supervise activities of their reprehensives in government?
Surely media have a big responsibility about it.(last night finally I saw "All the president’ men).
I recalled about 8 years ago , coincide with election of president Khatami that more newspapers published as he came to office , hardliners criticized this policy and express free media bring more chaos so they try to bring more limitation to media and regretfully they was successful.

In my journey to south of Iran I was with some guys who were real symbols of supporters of Iran's regime.( maybe you heard about Basiji) .they want be like people who fight with Iraqis in last years. They wear like them ,they have beards like those and they are trying being as kind as those people.
Maybe I was an insider among them because we have many diffraction in our beliefs but we were good friends all the journey (they never found my ideas. ;)
I also must confess many of them are smart and intelligent persons, they were aware of world conditions and many of their analysis about world and Iran nuclear dispute were really interesting for me .
*But I also must said I faced with some persons who were really ignorant about what is going on around them.
For example one of them did not know differentiation between Security Council and board of governors but he argued with me that nuclear technology in any condition is Iran absolute right.(I even think he did not know differentiation of IAEA with FAO or UNESCO).
Or another one told me why we must connect to internet through Dubai! *In Iran number of dial up lines begins with 971 that is also is world code of UAE so he thought we dial Dubai when we want connect to internet (he exactly mean this, not another reasons like Iran ,UAE optic fiber line )
So such people like them in the journey frequently asked us to pray that god perish America and Israel.

Detesting war; I want to live in peace

Persian New Year is nearing, so the streets are filled with people shopping for new clothes, fruits and other delicious foods.They are reluctant to think about what is waiting for them in the coming year. Maybe next year everything will remain the same as today and yesterday... or maybe war, long queues (due of sanctions), the death of children (due to undernourishment caused by sanctions), and warning sirens (from missile attacks) are expecting us in the New Year.

I forgot that next year the World Cup is also waiting for us ;)

In possible war Do and How I must be as brave as those?

Iran nuclear dispute sent to Security Council and I am going to south Iran for the second time where Iran -Iraq war occurred there. They speak and show us how young people like us in 20 years ago with courage fight with enemy and we must influenced on their speeches and … on the way to back home maybe many of us are thinking how we must to be as brave as those (about 1,000,000) martyrs in the new possible war.

My last year post

Who is the nuclear? Is she beautiful?

Yesterday for the first time I went to stadium for a soccer match, It was a good day with a lot of fun and excitement.

In stadium easily you heard insulting to others and I must confess it has a lot of fun when I called players or referee “stupid” (maybe I must go to a psychiatrist) ,others insulting too but their swears were what that maybe I never heard before .

What was interesting also for me was that these people (most of them between 15-30) that only healthy entertainment for them is watching soccer in stadiums whenever the match became boring start to shouting

Nuclear energy is our certain right.

“This slogan is a common slogan in today of Iran. Maybe it must be natural when a populist goverment run Iran.”

Anyway …

Is it the best?

In other countries the headline of news is about Iran nuclear program and discussion that does Iran must refer to security of consul or not? But here in Iran most of the people are not interesting about this issue a kind of apathy. Really I haven’t any idea that why people are not aware about their future and I think if someday a bomb drop they asked what happen ? but it is very latefor iran!

One of my friends was proud that poor people in far away and poorest villages voted to Mr. Ahmadinejad.
And I’ve thought that does democracy is appropriate for all, for example in developing country that many people suffer from famine and starving and they had to only think about fighting for their life , do they could choose best way for their life? Do they aware of all details that affect on their life?

Only a sparkle need to light the fire

When my friends suddenly began to complain to everything without any reason I found what these days occurred in France, easily could happen in Iran too. A blind protestation and chaos without any idea behind it and I think leaders of such movements if have any ideology they read them in some books that reject everything, books which belongs to decades before. They will destroy everything, only because they are unsatisfied without any reason and wanna show their protest.
I hope that day never come but if ...

Every Iranian reads 5 minutes in a day

My friend is proud that he is not reading any newspaper and books but if ask him his opinion about parties in Angola he begins to express himself.It is an important fact about Iran’s today .many doesn’t have enough knowledge about what really happen around them and what affect directly in their life, most of them didn’t know they are in a boycott of news and they even satisfy about their current life.These kinds of persons express their opinion about everything that they know nothing about it and surprisingly they resist on their wrong opinion (I know that every one is free for saying his opinions about everything but when a wrong opinion spread in society and something wrong became a believe of people it is really dangerous.)
* I didn’t mean all of people I know many in Iran only can and must think about how they must spend life of their own and their family. It was only my opinion! About some of friends who fortunately were students too.

lands of caricature

In last 100 Years we import many things from developing lands to be modernizing e.g. university, democracy . . . or even mobile phone, but its prospect is only a caricature of originals.
Maybe because we decided to synchronize everything with our culture but we do not know how we must do it.

No more fine

Maybe you know that Iran is on top of list inmost road accident in the world and as a foreigner when for first time come to Iran the first thing that surprise him/her is driving in streets. So they ( khatami's cabinet) decided increase fine of driving in 3 year continuously for decreasing accidents in Iran.
last level scheduled for next few days but Mr. president ahmadinejad ordered to stop it cause he believe Iranian people are nice and with speaking rate of accidents could be decrease and believed people must be kind with each other so there is no need for more fines and with kindness rate of accident could become negative .
Thanks god for having such kind president.
*I believe culture is most important part for being a good driver and I also think high fines is important to force bad drivers for being a good driver.

Please first think about your mistakes

They said why educated and intellectual (middle class) people didn’t support their government .why you didn’t defend your government. they said when we(as system) are standing against Europe and US to preserve Iran nuclear peaceful(!)technology achievements why you are silent and only watch what we are doing .they said you must set up a software movement for defend your country, why you don’t write about Iran rights for achieving high technology .why don’t you complain about high technology Apartheid about Iran .
And I think
Maybe they are right but why should Iran stand for 27 years against US for nothing? Or why they lost chances for relation?
Why we are always waiting for a war or sanctions. I am really tired, I want to live as people in other country I want to use best technology in my life but because our leaders standing against US they cannot make chances for their people for a better life.
Why they are not thinking about their mistakes in theses years instead standing?
